Georgina Graper Moore is an artist with an equal number of years in the music industry, writing, graphic arts and design along with entrepreneurial skills as a business owner.
Original manager for New Wave/Punk band Berlin, she left to form her own band 6 months before their Grammy Award Winning Best Soundtrack Theme Song for "Top Gun". Georgina wrote and performed her own songs in a girl group called Hastings Ranch.
During this time she was also the owner of a housecleaning and maintenance
company called Creative Cleaning West. CCW had a primarily celebrity clientèle in the Los Angeles area for 15 years.
Currently a Songwriter/Manager/Producer with 6 songs on two Grammy winning Cd's
by Blues artist Keb Mo. Georgina has a Gold Record for Cd's sold and 8 Blues Music Awards and many other nominations through her work with Keb Mo. Georgina performed many of Keb Mo's early management duties, traveled internationally with him and stayed on as his financial manger and wife until 2000.
Georgina's songs and lyrics are performed all over the world and in TV and movie soundtracks. Georgina has served as a board member for The Blues Foundation in Memphis and is a NARAS member. She was first published at age 9 in a poetry anthology and has written consistently ever since.
Using her skills in business she has also managed Guitar Shorty, The Bonedaddys (and African inspired Los Angeles band) and performed management services for Keb Mo, Wayne Henderson of The Jazz Crusaders, Kenny Neal and Martha Reeves.
She has co written music with or for artists Mickey Champion, Dennis Jones, Theresa Andersson, Alex Schultz and many others.
Georgina has been an artist coordinator ,promoter,soundtrack supervisor and donated her time extensively to assist name recording artists less fortunate than herself. Her continued commitment and love for music in all forms motivates her to this day.
Georgina splits her time between Los Angeles where she was born and New Orleans her adopted home, where she has renovated historic properties for the last 15 years alongside her career in music. Georgina is a Hurricane Katrina first responder and also has her Real Estate license in California and Louisiana which she utilizes to help friends and associates.
